More closing highlights

Brown’s attorney is back up:

Says Victoria Osteen “wants special rules. she feels she is a hammer and everyone else is little nails, and she can hit the nails.”

“This is about Sharon Brown protecting the plane and protecting the passengers. This is about Victoria Osteen protecting her image, protecting the  family business Lakewood Church, and protecting her sense of entitlement.”

“Sharon Brown is a hero, she is courageous, and its not sacrilege”

Hardin is done with his closing: “I don’t have the preacher voice of   Mckamie or even Joel Osteen, but I’ve always agreed with Jesse Jackson. You are somebody….we are all God’s children… and you shouldn’t have to have a lawsuit to prove that.”

“You the jury can tell Ms. Brown, whatever your problems are…God speed Ms. Brown, we wish you luck, but  no you have not been assaulted.”

  1. Ms. Brown should be grateful I’m not a juror in her case. I had already made up my mind against her the minute her attorney played the race card.

I understand Victoria Osteen is not perfect, and she seems to be an easy target, but I can’t help but wonder if Ms. Brown would have filed a lawsuit if the pastor’s wife had been First Lady Sarita Jakes, and the pastor had been Bishop T. D. Jakes, of the Potter’s House in Dallas. Both men are high profile. If there was any racism involved, I would think it would be on the part of Ms. Brown, and her attorney, not on the part of the Osteens.

  2. It seems to me, Maria S., that it is YOU that just played the race card….be careful there, your soul is showing! Just because you have an opinion doesn’t give you the right to declare it “Gospel.” You should always keep in mind that only God knows the truth in this situation and I can assure you that you have NO IDEA what today’s security policy is regarding incidents upon the aircraft. Ms. Brown did her job in protecting that aircraft… she also did her part in letting the world know that these people are NO EXCEPTION to our Federal Government’s policies. Flight Attendants (not Stewardess) have a primary goal of safety, not to be confused with someone there to merely cater to the spoiled needs of a demanding First Class passenger.

I pity the people who see this incident as a waste of time. I personally appreciate the seed of doubt that has been planted no matter how small it may be. Ms. Brown will forever carry the burden of her decision to go forward with this case, but I have true faith she will be rewarded by God for revealing how deceiving the Osteens have been in their Ministry. This needed to happen… too many innocent people give money to that ministry for misgivings of this nature to occur.

The most important fact to remember: The Osteen’s paid a fine for disrupting the flight. Do you really think they would pay that fine if not forced to?

PEOPLE SHOULD THINK FOR THEMSELVES INSTEAD OF ACTING LIKE BLIND SHEEP!!!!
