A Familiar Face Joins The Sheriff’s Department

His face and name are familiarto many Houstonions.

For the last three three decades,  respected journalist  Alan Berstein has covered   local and state politics for the Houston Chronicle.

 

But, don’t be  surprised if you soon see Alan on KPRC Local 2 speaking on behalf of the Harris County Sheriff’s Department.

Wednesday  night Alan  confirmed to 2 on the Beat that he is leaving the newspaper’s  political beat  and going to work for Harris County Sheriff  Adrian Garcia.
