Mayor Parker Picks New City Attorney and Housing Director

They aren’t household names, but they will help make decisions that could eventually impact every taxpayer in the city of Houston.

As 2 On The Beat reported earlier today,  Mayor Annise Parker has named Houston attorney David  Feldman as the new City Attorney and James D. Noteware as the City’s new Director of Housing.

“These two individuals are highly qualified professionals with extensive experience in their respective fields,” said Mayor Parker. “My charge to them is more efficient and effective customer service.”

According to his resume listed on the firms website, “Mr. Feldman’s practice focuses on the representation of both public and private sector employers in all forms of labor and employment disputes, school districts and other public entities in civil rights litigation, and general litigation.  He also serves as the school attorney for a wide variety of Houston area school districts, and outside general counsel to various other public entities.  He has had extensive trial experience in state and federal court (both jury and non-jury cases), before administrative agencies, and substantial state and federal appellate experience.”

According to his online bio, Noteware is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of  Noteware Development, which focuses on the creation of exciting mid-priced, mixed-use residential condominium communities in strategic areas of rapidly growing metropolitan areas of the United States.
