The Chairman of the Republican National Committee will visit Houston on Saturday, September 25, as part of the political party’s “Fire Pelosi” bus tour.
Michael Steele is scheduled to arrive at the Harris County Republican headquarters at Noon. Candidates for local and statewide races are also expected to be in attendance.
The RNC road trip is part of a national plan to visit 48 states between now and election day.
Republicans hope they can pick up enough seats in the mid-term elections to claim a slim majority in the Congress. If that happens Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi would be “fired” and replaced by U.S. Rep. John Boehner as Speaker of The House.
