New Back To Basics Ad Targets Governor Rick Perry

Coming to a TV set near you today:  A new TV  political ad from the Back to Basics PAC .  

The ad claims that Governor Rick Perry used Hurricane Ike relief funds to help pay for restoration work on the Governor’s mansion.

A spokesperson from Back to Basics says this is a, “six-figure buy for a television ad exposing Rick Perry’s hypocrisy and lies after accepting stimulus dollars he claims he rejected.”

From Mark Miner, Governor Perry’s campaign spokesman:  “This ad represents more of the  same false and negative attacks you would expect from Bill White, the Obama attack machine and his fellow trial lawyers. Governor Perry is focused on addressing job creation, strengthening the economy, securing our border and improving education; issues that matter to the people of  Texas.”
