African American Makes History With 5th Circuit Appointment

The first African-American from Mississippi to be appointed to the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals will soon hear cases covering Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

On February 14, James Graves Jr. was confirmed for the lifetime appointment by the U.S. Senate on a voice vote.
