Rodeo Houston Begins 20 Days of Cowboys, Competition and Concerts

Barrel Racing. Mutton Bustin’ and a concert by country music star Clay Walker.

What a great start to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Tuesday night.

An estimated crowd of 46,264, including Texas Governor Rick Perry,  filled Reliant Stadium to watch the cowboys, competition and concert.

There wasn’t a bad seat in the stadium, however, some wonderful people from Republic Services had one of the best views of  all the action.

Republic Services hosted a suite that was filled with a great mix of elected officials, community leaders and a few members of the media.

Pictured here are Damien Katzenmeyer, Greg Rutherford, Lea Gibson and David Aguilar.

Other faces in the crowd: City Council Member Brenda Stardig, HISD Trustee Greg Meyers, Cindy Clifford of The Clifford Group and Jason Fuller of Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison’s office, Francis Page of Houston Style Magazine and Emily Suchomel of The Clifford Group.

These are just a few of the photos I snapped. Look for more faces from Rodeo Houston on the main website later today,
