The Harris County Precinct 4 Constables Office is asking for the public’s help to find and arrest an uncaring dog thief.
Charges have been filed against Otis Witchet, who was recently released from prison and has an extensive criminal history.
Witchet was caught on video camera breaking into Pet City of Houston. The store is located in the 200 block of Bammel Westfiled.
After breaking into the store he stole three English Bulldogs. He is seen on tape just throwing them out of the store window and into his SUV. The puppies, born in May, look scared and confused by what is happening.
Investigators and the store’s owners believe Witchet is trying to make some fast money. On the street, he can make about $500 selling the stolen dogs. In the store they sale for about $2,500.
