Former U.S. Congressman Chris Bell (democrat) who is running for State Senate in district 17 will get a big campaign boost from former President Bill Clinton.

Mr. Clinton is scheduled to appear at a fundraiser for Bell on Monday, October 13, 2008.
Bell is one of two democrats and four republicans running in the special election to replace former Senator Kyle Janek.
