Another Celebrity in Trouble – Another case for Rusty Hardin
October 23, 2008

If 2 on the Beat ever (allegedly) breaks the law she will seriously consider hiring high profile Houston Attorney Rusty Hardin.

He gets all of the big cases: Former Houston Astro’s pitcher Roger Clemens, Lakewood Church Co-Pastor Victoria Osteen, and now Houston Rockets point Guard Rafer Alston.

Hardin and his law firm associate Derek Hollingsworth are representing Alston, who is charged with driving while intoxicated.

He  was pulled over last August after a police officer thought he observed Alston driving without his car’s headlights on and making an erractic lane change.

Hardin denies his client was drunk behind the wheel.

Members of the jury will have decide whether they believe the defense or the prosecution’s side of the story.

I don’t know if  Alston will testify during the misdemeanor trial.

In the meantime, this really isn’t the kind of publicity Alston needs, considering that he has a  reputation for being in trouble.

On second thought, I’m going to hope I stay out of trouble so that I never have to call Hardin or Hollingswoth.

I am neigther a celebrity or someone who could afford to pay their legal fees!
