Tonight: Meet The New KPRC Anchor Babies September 14, 2011

Remember when FIVE KPRC Anchor/Reporters were pregnant at the same time?

After giving  birth and going on maternity leave, the anchors and ther babies got  together recently at Channel 2 to do a followup to the story about their pregnancies.  I had just a few minutes to  snap some candid photos, but you can tune in tonight to watch anchor Owen Conflenti’s story.

 

To refresh your memory the new mommies are Morning Anchor Lauren Freeman, 4 o’clock Anchor Rachel McNeill, Weekend Anchor Daniella Guzman, Weekend Morning Anchor Courtney Zavala and Investigative Reporter/Fill-In Anchor Amy Davis.

Daniella had a precious baby girl and the rest of the team had boys.

2nd Anchor Baby Born – Congratulations Baby Eisenbaum March 8, 2011

Congratulations to KPRC Local 2 Consumer Reporter Amy Davis and her husband, Investigative Reporter Joel Eisbenbaum on the birth of their first baby.

Jackson Eisenbaum was delivered Tuesday afternoon. 

Jackson weighed in at 7 lbs 5 oz.

 As I reported  before, a total of  5 women in the KPRC Local 2 newsroom were pregnant.

We are now down to 3 – Morning Anchor Lauren Freeman had her baby first followed by Amy Davis.

We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of  Rachel McNeil’s, Courtney Zavala and Daniella Guzman’s babies.

KPRC Local 2 Loves Anchor Babies January 14, 2011

You can call it a pregnancy outbreak or a baby epidemic.   Channel 2 will soon need to build our very own nursery in the middle of the newsroom.

Not really – But several  KPRC Local 2 news anchors/reporters are pregnant and their babies are due within weeks of  each other.

Let’s start with KPRC Local 2  Morning Anchor Lauren Freeman. She’s 8 months pregnant with her second child.  Lauren and husband Dr. Forrest Roth are also the  proud parents of  2-year-old Rhodes.

 Local 2 News at 4 Anchor Rachel McNeill  is also pregnant with her second baby.  She and husband Dr. Wayne  Franklin are going to have a little brother or sister for two-year old Lionel.  

Weekend Anchor/Reporter Daniella Guzman and her husband Hector are pregnant with their first baby.  Their baby is due in June.

Weekend Morning Anchor Courtney Zavala and her husband Orlando are expecting their second boy.  They are already the proud parents of 2-year-old Connor.

Meanwhile Anchor/Investigative Consumer Reporter Amy Davis is pregnant with a baby boy due in March.   This is the first child for Amy and husband, KPRC Local 2 Anchor/Wheel of  Justice Reporter Joel Eisenbaum. 

Congratulations to all the mommies and daddies to be!     I’ll post pictures when all the new anchor babies make their arrival.
