University of Houston police officer Ann O’Donnell died early Christmas Eve when she slammed her police cruiser into a tree while responding to an emergency call.
“She was a fine, dedicated officer, and we are deeply saddened by her death. Our hearts go out to her family, friends and fellow officers during this difficult time,” UHDPS Chief Malcolm Davis said. “(She was) very personable, very excited — starting her career, really looked forward to what she was doing and had a firm desire to serve the public.”
