Birthday Bash For Jason Fuller Brings Out Houston’s A-Listers

The number of  candles on the cake were in dispute,(25, 35, 41?) as the ever-fabulous and youthful looking Jason Fuller celebrated another birthday milestone Sunday night.

Family, friends,  political leaders and movers and shakers in Houston society feted the birthday boy, who is the regional director for U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas)

The party was hosted by local PR whiz Cindy Clifford at the lovely Memorial-area home of   Marty and Parvin McVey.

A whose who of Houston helped Jason blow out the candles including, Margaret Alkek Williams, Melissa King, Harris County District Attorney Pat Lykos, State Rep. Carol Alvarado, Bellaire City Councilman Corbett Parker, David Bray along with many others, including Jason’s twin brother, Jeff Fuller.

Jason Fuller Gets The VIP Treatment

He’s the go-to-guy in the local office of  Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison – answering daily calls from the media, community members and other elected officials.

 

But in honor of his birthday on Sunday, Jason Fuller enjoyed the spotlight and VIP treatment.

The party room at Ciao Bell0 on San Felipe was packed with Jason’s close friends, colleagues and loving family members who were invited to celebrate his 41st birthday.

Hosted by super party planner Cindy Clifford, the party featured a live band, dancing, great conversation and a lot of political gossip!

The menu, of course,  was Italian food while dessert consisted of  cupcakes decorated in the colors and logo of  University of Houston, Jason’s alma mater.

Faces in the crowd:  Judge Ed and Gwen Emmett, Russ Frank, Bill and Melissa King, Janiece Longoria, Corbett Parker, Judge Zinetta Burney, Nick Anderson and many others.

Political Dish Spices Up Election Season

Some of  Houston’s savviest political minds and top-notch community leaders joined together Wednesday to dish about  the 2010 statewide and Harris County elections. 

The 4th annual pre-election analysis luncheon, sponsored by Klotz Associaties and Fulbright and Jaworski, was held at the Four Seasons Hotel.  The political analysts shared their thoughts on the upcoming election season and the current political climate.

The bipartisian menu included discussion of  the governor’s race (the esteemed analysts predicted Perry defeats White by 5-8 points), predictions about the outcome of  propositions 1-3 (RENEW Houston is in trouble and Red Light Cameras survive the challenge) and insight on the early voter turnout (Republicans are more enthusiastic than Democrats this election)

The panelists included: Jessica Colon, Franklin Jones, Richard Murray, Mustafa Tameez and Bob Stein.
